The One True God
We believe there is only one true God who revealed Himself as the ”I AM, ”The Creator and Redeemer of mankind. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Everlasting Father. The Ancient of Days. We believe God eternally exists in three persons called The Trinity, which comprises God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. (Isaiah. 43:10,11. Genesis. 1:1. Ephesians. 4:5-6, Matthew 28:19).
The Holy Scriptures
The scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired and infallible revelation of God to man and the authority of our faith and conduct. We accept the Bible as the revealed will and mind of God, as the all-sufficient rule of faith and standard for daily living. We believe the stand of the Scripture on every issue of life is sacrosanct. (2 Timothy. 3:15-17. 1 Thessalonians. 2:13. 2 Peter.1:21, Hebrews 4:12).
The Deity Nature of Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity nature of Our Lord Jesus Christ, as declared by the scriptures. We also believe Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God. (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16, John 6:62. John 8:56-58)
The Fallen Man
We believe man was created good and upright by God. However, he fell when he voluntarily transgressed and became spiritually dead and away from God. Hence, all mankind inherited this sinful and depraved nature and position from the first man – Adam. All men need redemption and salvation. (Genesis.1:26-27. Genesis. 2:17. Genesis. 3:6. Romans 3:3. Romans.5:12-19).
The Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ suffered and was crucified on the cross at Calvary for the remission of the sins of mankind. He rose from the dead in His glorified body on the third day, and He ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Matthew 27:1 – 28:20)
The Salvation of Man
We believe man’s only hope and sure way to escape eternal damnation is through atonement by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is by faith through grace and demonstrated in repentance leading to a relationship with Jesus Christ. (John. 3:3. Romans. 12:13-15. Ephesians. 2:8)
Water Baptism
We believe in Water Baptism By immersion in water as Jesus Christ was baptized. Our position is that every believer should be baptized in water by immersion. (Matthew 3:13-17, Matthew 28:19)
Sanctification
We believe in sanctification. The act of separation from that which is evil and dedicating oneself to God and that which is good, upright, and morally pure. Moreover, we believe sanctification is the work of grace performed by the Holy Spirit on the heart of a believer. All forms of filthiness, dead works, and sinful tendencies are purged by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. We believe every believer should seek for this shortly after salvation through fervent prayer and study of the word of God. Without this experience, living a holy life would be a constant struggle. (Ezekiel 11:19, Ezekiel 36:25-27, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Romans. 12:1-2)
Baptism of The Holy Spirit
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father available to all believers. It was sent by Jesus after His ascension to empower the church to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth. This happened to the Apostles, on the day of Pentecost, at the upper room. In the scripture the baptism of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by speaking in tongues (unknown prayer languages). (Matthew 3:11. Acts. 1:4-8. Acts. 2:1-4. John. 14:15-17)
Divine Healing
We believe in divine healing. We believe divine healing did not end with early church and the first Apostles. We believe it is provided for and included in the redemption package made available to every believer through the suffering, death, and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:14-16).
The Blessed Hope and Second Coming of Jesus Christ
We believe the resurrection and rapture of all Christians dead and alive to meet Christ in the air is the blessed hope. We believe the second coming of Christ will be in two folds: the rapture of the saints for the marriage supper of the Lamb; and a Christ’s return to earth with His saints for a thousand-year reign. (Romans. 8:23, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, Zechariah 14:5, Matthew 24:17, 30)
The Final Judgement
We believe there will be a final judgement at the White Throne Judgement when men will be judged. (Matthew. 25:46, Mark. 9:43-48, Revelation. 19:20)
The New Heaven and Earth
All of God’s children will reign forever in a new heaven and a new earth. (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation. 21:22)
